The threshold to benefit from free shipping is 150 €, the final amount of the basket, for all the countries to which we ship. This concerns the most economical method of delivery with tracking. Other chargeable delivery methods are also available beyond this amount.

We use by default the same color codes as Bareknuckle Pickups, for the wiring of our humbuckers. In this way, it is very easy for you to use the very complete wiring diagrams that BKP offers on its site at this address.

If you ever wish, for practical reasons (mounting a Cecca microphone with a microphone from another brand such as Gibson, Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, Fender …), you can ask us for special wiring. You just need to mention it in a comment on the order confirmation page.

We wire our microphones with 5 conductor cables, one for ground and 2 (start and end) for each coil.

We do not have wiring diagrams specific to Cecca Guitars. We therefore refer you to the Bareknuckle Pickups website which offers a very complete series of diagrams for all (or almost) pickup configurations.

Unless you specifically request, our 4-conductor wiring respects the color codes of Bareknuckle pickups. It is therefore possible for you to use their diagrams without fuss.

RWRP or RW / RP is the acronym for Reverse Wind / Reverse Polarity.

Technically, RWRP is used with single coils only (Telecaster, Stratocaster, Jaguar, Jazzmaster and P90). This allows the cancellation of the “Hum” on the intermediate position between two microphones. This position becomes “Noiseless” (without noise, like the humbuckers), if and only if the winding direction of the 2 microphones is reversed as well as the polarity, that is to say the orientation of the magnets. One must be in the North the other in the South.

Our single coil pickup sets are RWRP by default. Let us know in the “Comments” field during order confirmation if you do NOT want the mics to be “RWRP”.

This information is very important if you want to install a Cecca mic with a mic from another brand (yes, yes, you have the right, I swear).

The winding directions and magnetic orientation we use are the same as most major brands of pickup.

CW = Clock Wise -> wound in a clockwise direction.

CCW = Counter Clock Wise -> wound counterclockwise.

P90 Bridge pickups are CW and NORD wound up
P90 Neck pickups are CCW and SUD wound up
Neck and Bridge Stratocaster pickups are CW and SOUTH wound up
Middle Stratocaster pickups are CCW and NORD wound up
The humbucker pickups are CW wound and screw coil (1st coil, input) to SOUTH and pad coil (2nd coil, output) to NORTH. In case of double rows of screws, it should be noted that the input coil is to the SOUTH and the output coil is to the NORTH. This is the most commonly used configuration.
