A PAF Alnico 5 humbucker inspired by the sound of Led Zeppelin and their virtuoso guitarist, Jimmy Page. This highly versatile rock set will allow you to go from British blues to 80s metal.
This version of our PAF is equipped with an Alnico 5 magnet. This magnet delivers a punchier sound than its Alnico 2, 3, and 4 counterparts. It's more powerful, scoops the mids, and emphasizes the bass and treble. We've developed a winding that perfectly complements this highly regarded and widely used magnet. The bridge pickup is very hot for a vintage PAF, adding mids, thickness, and softening the treble. The treble is never harsh. The pickup is precise and powerful, yet easily tamed by softening the pick attack or lowering the volume. The neck pickup, which captures the instrument's bass frequencies very well due to its position, has a lighter winding. The sound is more open, though still full-bodied. Angus Young fans will find themselves on familiar ground, recognizing the characteristic grit and attack of the master's greatest riffs.

This pair of pickups will allow you to go from the bluesy or aggressive sound of Jimmy Page to early 80s metal. Rock and hard rock players won't be left out either, with a very wide range of tones.
