The importance of electronics

When changing the pickups on a guitar, it's important to also change the electronics of your electric guitar. The electronic components affect the sound of your guitar, altering the volume and tone. Choosing quality electric guitar electronics ensures good signal transmission from the pickups . Good quality potentiometers will turn smoothly without generating noise or crackling. A good pickup selector switch won't produce noise during use, and a good jack won't crackle either.
