Delta Roots – PAF Humbucker Alnico 3 pickup

The Alnico 3 used for this PAF Humbucker pickup set is reserved for custom shop models from major brands of guitar and electric guitar pickups. This is the magnet that will give the most vintage character to your sound, associated with an adequate rig. This “Lightwound” version, because it is slightly less wound than a traditional PAF microphone, brings more dynamics and treble to your sound while slightly reducing the output level. Associated with the Alnico 3 which reinforces the low mids and deepens the high mids you will have a clear sound rich in harmonics with body and a harsh crunch as desired. Certainly the output level is lower but you will have enough under your feet to make your amp roar. This set is ideal for Archtop, Hollowbody and half-body guitars of all types and will work very well on a Les Paul type guitar (mahogany body with maple top) to give it a little finesse. The screw spacing of 49.2mm is that of vintage Gibson guitars. This set will therefore fit perfectly on any Epiphone, Gibson or other brand guitar equipped with a Tune-o-matic or TOM bridge for short.
