A P90 that packs a punch
Don't get me wrong, you won't be playing blues/rock with this one; that's not its forte. No, think palm muting and heavy distortion with the typical P90 grit and attack. An atomic mix! The clean tones are ready to twist as soon as you start picking. In distortion, the sound is tight, with tight bass and mids that cut through the mix nicely. The highs are slightly recessed but benefit from the P90 grit in the attack—a real treat. Install it in a light guitar that lacks a bit of body to transform it into a true monster. Ready for the grind! The neck pickup is a souped-up version of the Pistol HSP90, using only Alnico 5, for beautiful highs and round, full bass.
