Based on the same principles as the Standard version, the Premium Complete Wiring Kit for Les Paul offers top-of-the-line components. The potentiometers are CTS, and the Switchcraft mono switch and jack are gold-plated. The construction is even more meticulous, with heat-shrink tubing protecting the solder joints. You can choose between the modern and vintage options for the tone potentiometers. The "modern" potentiometers are "no load," meaning they completely cut off when at maximum volume, thus having no influence on the guitar's circuitry, unlike the "vintage" model. The "modern" version provides a brighter sound and slightly more power when cut. The Treble Bleed control preserves the treble frequencies when adjusting the guitar's volume.
