Custom version of the DoomFred signature pickup. Identical sound but with a stunning transparent finish to give your guitar a unique look. This pickup is clearly designed for playing metal. The neck pickup delivers ultra-clear, highly detailed lead tones. The bridge pickup is perfect for powerful rhythm playing.

We opted for a blade-type humbucker pickup, for its look, its sound, and the undeniable advantage it offers:

• They can be installed on any type of guitar, regardless of the bridge and string spacing.
• There is never any loss of power or volume during the bends that we love so much.
• The bridge pickup features a ceramic magnet that's 8 inches thicker than standard-sized magnets. This adds power and treble to complement a very muscular, full-bodied coil. The bass is powerful yet precise, even at very low tunings. The tone is simply devastating.
  The neck pickup also handles distortion with ease, offering less bass, precise treble, and just the right amount of midrange for solos that cut through the mix effortlessly. This neck pickup has the unique feature of being able to be installed in either the neck or bridge position, resulting in a slightly less powerful but still characterful sound.
