Behind this name, which Terry Gilliam wouldn't disown for one of his films, lies my brand new humbucker set. A truly special set, since it was designed with and FOR NeoGeoFanatic , who is now installing it on his guitars: his superb Boissières and a pickguard for his Rémige Trilogy.
To learn more about this microphone set, you can visit the Sunset Paradise, where you'll find all the technical information and sound samples to help you discover this new microphone. But before that, if you're not already familiar with him, I suggest you check out NeoGeoFanatic, one of the best French metal guitarists.
Here is the presentation of the pickups by @Neogeofanatic himself!
NeoGeo grew up listening to Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Saxon, and Metallica, but it wasn't until he was 17 that he first picked up a guitar. He then enthusiastically embarked on self-teaching. His YouTube channel was launched in 2008, initially featuring hundreds of purely musical videos, before he published his first spoken instructional video, dedicated to artificial harmonics. This led to the creation of "Nono's Tips," which became a notable success within the guitar community. In 2012, he began collaborating with Guitar Part, first as a reviewer, then as a writer, teacher, and versatile contributor. He then joined the teams atAudiofanzine and GuitareXtreme, continuing his passions as a writer and reviewer, with a particular focus on the quality of written expression.
In parallel, in 2015 he released his first solo instrumental album, Welcome to Neocity, inspired by cyber metal, followed by Rétrocompatible, a synthwave album made with the Flashlight, a tribute to the pop culture of the 80s and 90s. Later, a one-shot was released with the A Taste of Freedom.
With the legendary French group ADX, he recorded the albums Bestial, Étranges Visions , and L'Empire du Crépuscule. In parallel, he continues to compose and share his solo instrumental creations, the most recent of which is Into the Light. His music evolves with his inspiration, each track being a unique expression of his creativity.
He also leads numerous masterclasses in France and neighboring countries. Since 2023, he has offered a new teaching format, the Workshops: Work and Play, which, with a limited number of participants, place particular emphasis on precision and commitment, and offer content focused on the discipline and rigor of guitar playing.
